At Horizon Pharmacy, our work is grounded in care, teamwork, and a shared commitment to serving patients and partner organizations across Rhode Island. Our newly transformed pharmacy space offers a closer look at that mission in action.
With support from the Rhode Island Foundation’s Social Impact Program, Horizon Pharmacy recently completed a renovation designed to strengthen our workflow, support our team, and create a more organized, modern environment for the work we do every day.
A Space Built for People and Purpose
The renovation included updated flooring, fresh paint, a reconfigured layout, and space designed around a more efficient medication packaging workflow. While the new pouch packaging system is an important part of the project, this video is about more than equipment—it is about the people, culture, and purpose behind the work.

Innovation With Community Impact
This project was made possible through the Rhode Island Foundation’s Social Impact Program. Their support helped us invest in a pharmacy environment that strengthens our capacity, supports our employees, and advances our mission.
Horizon Pharmacy serves more than 2,600 Rhode Islanders through its pharmacy services, and our nonprofit ownership model helps support free and subsidized behavioral health and substance use care for approximately 1,000 state residents.
