Helping young athletes build confidence, perseverance, and community through youth triathlon
Horizon Pharmacy is proud to continue its support of the YMCA of Newport County’s Race4Chase Youth Triathlon Program for the second consecutive year. This inspiring six-week program helps young athletes develop skills in swimming, biking, and running while building confidence, healthy habits, teamwork, and a strong sense of accomplishment.
This year’s Race4Chase season was especially meaningful. With the help of community sponsors and supporters, the YMCA of Newport County welcomed 35 young athletes into the program—10 more than last year. That growth means even more children had the opportunity to challenge themselves, discover their potential, and experience the pride of crossing the finish line.
The season culminated with the Race4Chase Youth Triathlon at Fort Adams in Newport, where athletes celebrated the results of six weeks of preparation and hard work. Despite high temperatures, participants showed remarkable determination, courage, and perseverance. Their commitment was a powerful reminder of what young people can accomplish when they are supported, encouraged, and given the opportunity to succeed.
